Hello,
I'm playing with Postfix/fetchmail in order to send/receive mailing-list messages.
I'm not able to set fetchmailrc syntax in order to declare two folder from which get the new messages.
I used this example:
set no softbounce poll imap.gmail.com proto IMAP service 993 user "mememe@gmail.com" there with pass "xyxyxyxyxy" folders Folder1, Folder2 is marco here idle ssl;
But it doesn't works.
I use:
poll SERVER.net with proto imap timeout 20, and tracepolls user R_USER, with password PASS, is L_USER here, and fetchall, expunge 20, folders Inbox, Spam, Junk
Hi Carlos,
For me the syntax doesn't works, only the first folder of the list went fetched: I.E. Folder1, to fetch the messages contained in the other, I need to invert the order in fetchmailrc.
I wont use fetchall, I want to fetch only the new not read messages.
you are using the "idle" option; according to fetchmail's manual page, "It also doesn't work with multiple folders; only the first folder will ever be polled."
Cheers.

Hi Manfred! Thanks for your spot, I have not given too much attention to that parameter because I was configuring the folders to be retrieved one by one and also I was adjusting Postfix settings in the meanwhile. I've removed "idle" from fetchmailrc now, let's see if it works. Anyhow I still don't see my posts sent on the mailing list, I just see the answers and the messages sent by others...I don't understand why.
