Please, I have asked about an apparent problem with systemd integration for NTPd, not unsolicited (and often hilariously wrong) advice about other time services.
timesyncd is completely sufficient for most desktop users who only need their clock to be accurate in the millisecond range.
Accuracy doesn't even figure into your set of requirements if you use an SNTP client unless you can ensure that the single source of time that gets chosen is under your control at all times.
