Mine is: ASUSTeK Radeon HD 5450, driver "modprobe radeon"
I have HD5450 on system just upgraded from 20171231 to 20180307 and experienced no black screen problem, but then I don't have sddm installed, and /var/lib/sddm does not exist.
From which version did you upgrade to TW20180307?
