[opensuse-factory] Question about packaging/spec file

Now that we are done yelling at each other on this list, I have a question about fixing a packaging problem. In https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1062967, the bug is that the VirtualBox guest kernel module only accepts kernel-default, but not kernel-default-base. As making that change exceeds my abilities with RPM packaging, can anyone suggest what I need to do, or point me to another package that handles this problem?
