[originally sent to opensuse-buildservice, and Adrian Schroeter complained: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-buildservice/2017-09/msg00016.html ]
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/510082 (declined 2 months ago) GTK3 apps not honoring system-wide DPI settings nor KDE mouse cursor https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1022830
What's going on with this? I don't know how to interpret the many lnussel entries in the BS request history. Is someone trying to push Lars' proposed fix upstream instead of carrying an openSUSE patch? If yes, where is its discussion to be found?
Perhaps it was too late to be accepted into https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Leap:42.3 , i.e. near release? Now you must re-submit as maintenance update. Anyone of us can execute in terminal: osc mr openSUSE:Leap:42.3:SLE-workarounds gtk3 openSUSE:Leap:42.3:Update -m "Add patch to revert upstream commit breaking DPI autodetection: revert-forced-xftdpi.patch (boo#1022830, fate#322401, fdo#98909, kde#367499, bmo#1269274)" See also https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Package_maintenance -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
