My guess is more the hybrid graphics card. Dunno what the tool is called to disable the Nvidia before hibernation and enable it afterwards.
First test could be to disable it in Bios

When I close the lid, the laptop goes into hibernation, when I open

touchpad). After a while the system reboots.
I'd like the laptop to be functional when I open after hibernation :) Anything I missed?
Are you sure it doesn't eventually emerge from hibernation? I have
second the the the
exact same setup (except HDD instead of SSD for root file system) and on my system it takes quite a long time (with a blank black screen) for my laptop to finish thawing from hibernation. Suspend is very fast of course.
BTW: how big is your swap partition? I have 2G more than my RAM size. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
