You can simply copy the file(s). Meaning "/var/spool/cron/tabs/" and /etc/cron.d/ Plus monthly, daily, weekly, hourly. I'm considering the /etc/crontab file as not used by the local admin, but the distribution.
I am not sure what you aim at with this response. I simply try to provide technical background about systemd to assist in better and more substantiated decision. Did I ever try to convince *you* that you must drop cron? Why you feel like bickering with *me*?
