Does rpm still work? That means you could at least install a fixed zypper version, and then continue as usual Nice idea.
So, I tried getting a earlier (42.2) libproxy using wget. Well that wants libproxy, which blows up: wget http://mirror.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/opensuse/distribution/leap/42.2/repo/oss/s... wget: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libproxy.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN9libmodman14module_manager8load_dirENSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEEb Recursion? I try using curl and it just dumps the binary to the screen. I thought it wasn't supposed to do that? I suceed with 'ftp'. # rpm -i libproxy1-0.4.13-2.2.x86_64.rpm package libproxy1-0.4.14-2.1.x86_64 (which is newer than libproxy1-0.4.13-2.2.x86_64) is already installed file /usr/lib64/libproxy.so.1.0.0 from install of libproxy1-0.4.13-2.2.x86_64 conflicts with file from package libproxy1-0.4.14-2.1.x86_64 Oh, dear! So "--force" replaces packages and files.
