Hello, after I updated to the current snapshot I lost all video and animated gif on facebook and I can't play video on several websites (mostly online newspapers).
Since Youtube is working fine, my guess is that it is related to the never too enough cursed flash plugin. I checked and 24.0.0.194-1.1 version of flash-player is installed, Firefox is the latest 51.0.1-1.7 I remember experiencing a similar issue way before. Memory's a bit fuzzy but it had something to do with missing codecs. Can you open your browser's devtools and see if it complains of anything missing?
Terzeus, seems you nailed it! Devtools console says this: Cannot play media. No decoders for requested formats: video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4d401e", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.64001f", audio/mp4; codecs="mp4a.40.5", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.42E01E mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4D401E mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.4D401F mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.640032 mp4a.40.2", video/mp4; codecs="avc1.640033 mp4a.40.2" Now the question is... where do I get the decoders? Interesting how now on Chrome the facebook video work, but many videos from newspapers still dont. The console says: SecurityError: The operation is insecure.
