There is no (should not be) an "upgrade path difference". Why do you expect one?
Well, you said that the version installed will be different for a fresh install than for a distribution upgraded machine.
Yes, but how does this imply that there's a difference depending on *how* you upgrade? Again, a fresh installation will automatically select KDEPIM5. On upgrades from previous versions, the one (KDEPIM4 *or* KDEPIM5) that is installed will be kept. I.e.: - if KDEPIM4 was installed, KDEPIM4 will still be installed after the upgrade (updated to the KDEPIM4 packages in 42.2 of course, which are basically be the same as in 42.1 or 13.2). - If KDEPIM5 was installed (which was available in 42.1 already, but not installed by default), it will be updated to the newer KDEPIM5 version in 42.2. Both are still included in 42.2. I hope that's clear now... ;-) Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
