Well I'm sorry to hear that since it leaves a lot of broken packages.
I will submit my changes anyhow and hope for the best.

The issues are as follows: 1) Current packages in factory of pyside do not include egg-info as is suggested by the openSUSE python packaging guidelines found @ https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Python.
2) python3-pyside-devel is compiled with ENABLE_VERSION_SUFFIX=TRUE in order to have a non conflicting pkgconfig file. I believe it would be more appropriate to disable ENABLE_VERSION_SUFFIX and instead provide pkconfig file suffixed with the %{pyver} i.e. pyside-py3.pc
The two above issues stop packages such as yubikey-piv-manager from ever launching since it depends on the egg-info files from pyside.
I have address the issue in my home project which can be found here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:hurricanehernandez
I am hesitant to spend a lot of time fixing the current pyside build process since pyside 2 is coming out soon and has a ton of fixes and changes to their build system. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
