Some freak accident and a blackout which outlasted my UPS my system would not start. Found that I could get a well functioning system when I use the "Start bootloader from a read-only snapshot". But now I have a working system which is "Read-only file system" Looked into the Btrfs Wiki and did the man pages but did not find a solution for my problem. As a matter of fact I can not update because /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock is a read only. From this working Read only system there should be a way to get a fully working system.
