no, this is not selected.
Well, my question was whether you mean this option as the one that is greyed out/unselectable. Apparently not.
And then there's of course the "Terminal Size" in the profile settings, which only works if you disable the former (but it shouldn't be disabled). and that is set but not observed. Terminal size is not what is set. If I switch from plasma5 to icewm, it is set correctly (w/o making any change)
This should work since 15.12.2 (it was broken before). But only if the other mentioned option is turned off, and only if you open a window with that specific profile. But as it works in IceWM, there is no general issue with the option obviously.
and the window size is changeable by moving the mouse to a side or corner and dragging. It is not in plasma5 ???
So your actual problem is that you cannot resize the window at all (when run in Plasma5)? Can you resize other windows? Do you maybe have a kwin rule in place that prevents resizing the window/sets a fixed size? Right-click on the window title bar and choose "More Actions"->"Custom Settings for this window/application" to check. Or remove/rename ~/.config/kwinrulesrc (logout/login to make sure ii has effect), or try on a fresh user account.
