Hello list, So, upgrade to litbtorrent-rasterbar v1.1 (comes with some of latest TW snapshots) doesn't go well for Deluge: there were reported at least 3 related issues (2 of which I am affected) and quick google search reveals them: * http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?t=53963 "Deluge 1.3.12 + libtorrent 1.1.0 not observing speed limits" * http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?t=53939 Error message in startup log * https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978600 segfault with IP Blocklist plugin enabled There's another issue I'm affected by but isn't reported yet: DHT is apparently malfunctioning, as status bar indicates "0 DHT nodes" and thus no leechers connected most of the time (wasn't the case with lt-r v1.0.9). What first 2 issues have in common is they go away after downgrading to libtorrent-rasterbar v1.0.9. Worse, TW users can't downgrade as old libtorrent was wiped from repositories. That would be ok if only upstream wouldn't refuse to support Deluge 1.3.x + libtorrent-rasterbar 1.1 in any way at http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?t=53939#p223925. So here are possible immediate steps to undertake: * Ignore * Bundle libtorrent 1.0.9 with Deluge * Provide libtorrent 1.0.9 package in TW along with 1.10 Should Deluge and/or rasterbar maintainers approve #2 or #3, I'm volunteering to make it happen. Thanks in advance. -- Regards, Andrei Dziahel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
