# zypper up --no-recommends --download-only [..downloading..] Installation has completed with error.
Apparently there was a change made to zypper/libzip... as this is true on all my Tw systems to. It must now be considered an error if packages were not actually installed rather than the command just completing as instructed.
According to the changelog, this should be fixed with the just-released Tumbleweed snapshot 20151214:
| ==== zypper ==== | ... | - download: fixed claiming an error after successful run (bsc#956480)
tks, just saw that :)
BTW:
You do remember: "Do you *really* want to delete ..." Hell yes, or I wouldn't have instructed the system to delete the file(s).
Use the --force, Luke ;-)
I did, but no longer necessary. I only use windows when working on someone else's box. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
