The logic is that you can and may have applets with multiple configurations. Some "mainstream" examples:
- Clocks showing different timezones - Different folder views (on this activity I have 3 for example)
All the configs are always stored in the same file though, ~/.config/ plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc.
thanks. maybe the clock applet should just use your local timezone and then display more clocks by adding a clock with a + or - time difference to your local time - it shouldn't take much to store that config.
