What does screen provide that /dev/tty doesn't?
Screen does use a real pty/tty pair whereas in autobuild a simple redirect to plain /dev/tty is tested by tty(1) as not a tty. This had happen several times for several packages in past and therefore I use screen as tty wrapper.
