Did you install pandoc?
No, I *uninstalled* it along with the ghc-* packages. So, yes pandoc was installed. Then there is no bug.
The packages are required directly or indirectly by pandoc. Here is the output on my 13.1 machine using the devel:languages:haskell packages: $ rpm -q --requires pandoc rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 ghc(pandoc-1.12.3.3-b2adc8bdc9fdc2c463a3e32227238230) ghc(yaml-0.8.5-f87a74a71547c7211a7a5755aa421445) ghc(pandoc-types-1.12.3.2-9a472a39387f84e86b7e8cb63d489408) ghc(highlighting-kate-0.5.6.1-eefee457f284b3dc7c0cedcf07742f20) ghc(directory-1.2.0.1-91a788fd88acd7f149f0f10f5f1e23f2) ghc(filepath-1.3.0.1-b12cbe18566fe1532a1fda4c85e31cbe) ghc(aeson-0.6.2.0-2efef5a8d5d72aeea9739ac894f98051) ghc(attoparsec-0.10.4.0-d9fd97cfc1a1748b3cde35adf7fd233b) ghc(containers-0.5.0.0-ab1dae9a94cd3cc84e7b2805636ebfa2) ghc(network-2.4.1.2-ceff6721a9d15c92aeb91b7ff1b8e52b) ghc(text-0.11.3.1-e38859e86485c167fa7c9441789e7607) ghc(bytestring-0.10.0.2-4f93248f75667c2c3321a7a6761b576f) ghc(base-4.6.0.1-8aa5d403c45ea59dcd2c39f123e27d57) ... Because of unstable ABIs in Haskell (Ocaml has the same issue) pandoc (and all other Haskell packages) must depend on packages providing `ghc(<haskell package name>-<version>-<ABI hash>)` and not `ghc-<haskell package name>-<version>`. Hence the packages you mentioned in your first email message appear to be leaf packages when in fact they are not.
