See my reply to Neil. There is a YouTube video on how to get wi-fi under NM working for 13.1. For 13.2 it is basically the same but one has to take into account that KDE 4.13.3 has caused some changes in the panel (the applet for NM seems to have disappeared - at least here it has :-) ) and that the Network Settings has been modified but still do the same job. If you want I can send you screen captures of what I have.
