Question: Do you have any QT 5.x packages installed? Most likely that this is the source of your troubles.
QT4 and QT5 in parallel is NOT fully save.
Some 'plugins' and programs are not save to use in dual QT (4+5) installations, due to lax linking e.g. libQtGui.so instead of libQtGui.so.4 .
There was a case about a Imageviewer plugin in the last 4 weeks where the plugin was linked against QT5 while the Imageviewer itself was using QT4.
- Yamaban. I'll have to get to you all about this. Is there a faster way of check using konsole?
