Hi,
I've read that systemd 210 is supplied with networkd for network configuration. There are .link unit files where one can configure his network.
How is it related to wicketd? Will they both be able to work on the same PC not interfering each other?
Now if you want to use networkd , a few hints. - Only DHCPv4, static v4/v6 addresses, are supported at the moment. - networkd does not (and will not) touch, create or do anything with /etc/resolv.conf, you must manually symlink /run/systemd/network/resolv.conf to /etc/resolv,conf. The long term goal is to make resolv.conf a sysadmin-only territory as a fallback configuration file, that no application modifies at all. AFAIK the relevant library, system or $whatever calls to implement this (a per-interface dns configuration) do not exist yet. - There is no command line client or api to configure it YET, so you need to manually edit the configuration files. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
