Hmmm, you should have at least mentioned 3 things:
the version # of libzypp; version of openSUSE you are running; and
whether you are talking about 32-bit or 64-bit version of your oS.
Come on little boy, aren't we on -factory- mailing list ?
I am running 64-bit 13.1 and I am not having any hassles at all with version libzypp-13.9.0-10.1. My 'complete' system is:
Using openSUSE 13.1, KDE 4.12.2 & kernel 3.13.3-1 on a system with- AMD FX 8-core 3.6/4.2GHz processor 16GB PC14900/1866MHz Quad Channel Corsair "Vengeance" RAM Gigabyte AMD3+ m/board; Gigabyte nVidia GTX660 OC 2GB DDR5 GPU Then you just prove you're off-topic in this context & mailing list.
However, what I AM finding is that zypper INSISTS on trying to install kernel-desktop-3.11.10-7.1 as a NEW package when, as you can see above, I am (already) using kernel 3.13.x......... multi-kernel, remove any kernel 3.11 and zypper will leave you in peace. You win some, you lose some....... BC
