Did you test if this is still needed with the latest nvidia driver?
I'm unsure about 5.1. Initializing Graphics with KMS (Kernel Mode Setting) -> It refers to 11.3 so maybe time to remove?
The nvidia driver still requires disabling KMS... That said - I understand the goal of cleaning up the release notes, which should IMHO only contain information about important changes and last-minute information that didn't make it into the "normal" documentation/manuals (doc.o.o) early enough. This also means some of the sections (KMS is the perfect example) should be moved to the manuals instead of just deleting them.
