Basically from 12.3 to 13.1 you need to run installer to get over it, zypper dup will never be sufficient as you have no tools available at hand to migrate the btrfs layout before the update.
Also possibility is to revert the %fdupes call on the imagemagick to ensure the dup works and just put it in effect later on which should not deem trouble.
That would mean to remove every hardlink from every package, it just papers over the issue. The VM has some Factory state from August. So in the end I think its ok to require an upgrade to 13.1+ via the installer.
What about adding the required step to the initrd before mounting the root filesystem ? -- "If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in." - Edsger Dijkstra -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
