Hello!
I'd like to propose adding glibc-2.18 for tumbleweed.
Why? To take advantage of most new things would require a rebuild of the whole distro, right?
AFAICT the version from Base:System / glibc will build fine without any change.
What about all of the packages that depend on glibc? Have you test built them?
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:no_se:branches:openSUSE:Factory...
shows the result.
That's the easy part, the hard thing is everything else that happens when a new glibc update happens. Again, what's the big benifit for updating glibc in tumbleweed? thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
