пишет: [snip] If you are interested you can fetch it from obs://home:arvidjaar:systemd/openSUSE_12.3. This has both systemd and udev. I updated all and immediately got interface named enp0s3 and of course no network. Be warned :) I have the oposite problem, I want to use the new naming scheme but can't make it work, I always get ethN heh :)
look for /usr/lib/udev/write_net_rules and it's generated file /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
ah, ok. it is write_net_rules .. not the one that fails.. write_dev_root_rule[302]: /usr/lib/udev/write_dev_root_rule: line 5: return: can only `return' from a function or sourced script.. gotta love our customizations... :-|
maybe you have a 'left-over' 70-persistent-net.rules from the prior version of udev
Yes, removing that one also does not help..
otherwise a command like "grep -E 'eth|en[a-z]' $(locate /udev/)" could give further hints.
I see now that our udev has yet another SUSE specific hack for this...sigh.. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
