-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, When you choose XFCE as the default desktop type, the displaymanager is set to "lightdm". I have found two problems with this, so far: Bug 807091 - XFCE ignores .i18n file Bug 807097 - On default XFCE install, display manager fails to halt or reboot machine The second one is the worst for most people, I guess: the machine can not be halted nor rebooted. There has been no answer at all on this report so far. I have tried 'xdm' as display manager: this solves the first issue, but then there are no buttons to halt, reboot, or choose session type. This display manager does not have enough features. Bug 805847 says that "lxdm" has the same problem of not being able to halt or reboot. Besides KDM or GDM, are other display managers that I could try? (I'm going to try wdm next) - -- Cheers/Saludos Carlos E. R.
