Thanks Johannes,
Today I watched awesome changes on startup and shutdown. I think it is now wide compatible on different machines.
I would just want to suggest a small change on Logout. Is it possible to move Geeko downward, just a little bit to keep it aligned with "Cancel" lower horizontal line ? On url below you can watch the Geeko back is upper the horizontal line for "Turn off Computer".
Picture is actually aligned in the QML theme, so changing geeko position would require patching/possibly breaking other themes. One possible solution would be to remove "openSUSE" text, but still it would not look as you indicated, and also looks a bit strange.
Thank you for taking the time to respond.
My concern is the Geeko almost collide with text notifying about time remaining to "turning off". And there is an empty room below openSUSE text just below the Geeko, same level as "Cancel" frame. It could, hypothetical, move the Geeko downward to release the upper room colliding. And it would look centered and balanced.
Anyway, if it is going to break anything else (themes, etc.) keeping that way is the right stuff. OTOH, I remember the Moon Icon there on older releases. What if it is switched to Geeko Head Icon. Could it make a difference?
These are only suggestions if it could help to improve it. I don't know what limitations or restrictions QML could impose to do it. I don't know if there is time limitations either. It's only a perception issue.
The whole artwork is great and it has plenty improvements how it looks and feels. Thanks for that. Hi Rick, i tweaked the geeko a little, it still won't be aligned as shown on your sketch, but should leave more place for the text :-)
