Could someone explain package flow from base repo into factory? Let's say, package was updated in ... Base:System. When will updated package appear in Factory? Only during the next Milestone release?
Is there something like "rolling factory" which includes all the latest package versions? If yes, where is the repo for it? And Wiki page of course ...
Updates appear in factory after the SR has been reviewed.
So "accepted" does not yet mean "reviewed"?
OK, I branched package, modified, submitted request. Request has been accepted (and I can verify that when I branch the package again I see my changes). But I do not see updated package in repo /factory/repo/oss. Hence my question - is there additional step for packages to be pushed from their development projects into Factory?
The work flow is changed -> SR Base:System -> new -> accepted there -> SR openSUSE:Factory -> review -> new -> accepted there After that the whole distribution has to finish building before a new FTP tree is uploaded, which can take up to 12 hours depending on how many other packages are checked in at the same time and how long they take to build.
