Hi ,
I want to run opensuse snapper in Ubuntu12.04
I installed it properly and it shows version = '0.0.14'
But when i run command to create configs , its giving error
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #snapper -c root root create-config / Command 'create' does not take arguments.
If you want to create the config the command must be: snapper -c root create-config /
#snapper -c root create / Command 'create' does not take arguments.
If you want to create a snapshot the command must be: snapper -c root create The option -c root can be omitted since it's the default.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #snapper -c home create-config /home Creating config failed (/sbin/chsnap not installed).
When using snapper with ext4 you need a kernel and user-space tools which support ext4 snapshots. Those must include the chsnap utility. Actually testing and fixing the latest version of snapper with ext4 would be a welcomed contribution.
#snapper -c home create /home Config 'home' not found.
Since creating the config failed you cannot use it.
