If you would use zypper or yast for installing, the dependencies would automagically be installed for you providing the rpm is properly constructed.
This was not the case unfortunately, and Crossover support told me to install the dependencies directly. It really was a terrible nightmare (despite it working fine now), and therefore i am going to re-install from scratch.
