In the Yast repository manager I miss the packman repository. That makes me insecure: Don't i need it anymore? Or do i have to replace it with another repository? Howdy Dominik,
first of all, thanks for your feedback!
I personally wonder about the packman thing though, as far as I remember only the Box versions got it per default. I had to add and active it the last time I installed 11.4, 12.1 and now 12.2 RC2 (well, I haven't done on 12.2 so far.). I installed oS 12.1 yesterday (in addition to 12.2 which I have been using for a while) and in 12.1 there are entries in the list of repos in YaST for BOTH packman and libdvdcss and, therefore, both are selectable by the user, without having to add them in "the long way"
In 12.2 these 2 repos are not shown. And this was just discussed in a thread called "Packman Repository".

The thread is actually what is shown in my Subject heading. Someone (Baumann) hijacked the thread and called the post "Packman Repository". I am replying to the original thread and not the hijacked, bogus one. My reply also is confirming that Packman repo is actually listed in YaST in the oS 12.1 as there was some uncertainty if it was in 12.1 or not.
