There does not appear to be too long delays. First is the kernel (15"), lots of things, then the delays start with xdm (9"), sound (12"), remote filesystems (7"), and some other things mixed around. Not a single culprit.
This test system I'm playing at (12.1) starts in 50". I can not access my virtual 12.2 now to check. But my kernel in 12.1 starts in 8", sound in 3". Longest in console-kit-daemon.service (>10")
Hi Yeah, that seems reasonable to me too. As I say, it's not the boot process itself which I'm concerned about. It's the blank screen just after the welcome to grub 2 message which takes up 4 minutes before systemd get's anywhere near it. This maybe something to do with grub2 on Vbox.
