Is it possible to include a rescue system and a repair module with the DVD for a future release of 12.3 for 2013?
Cheers!

Hi I just use 3rd party ones.... http://sourceforge.net/projects/partedmagic/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/systemrescuecd/ http://trinityhome.org/
Thanks for links. I have them all. But... Why should we have to use another cd when openSUSE had a great rescue module in the 11 - 11.2 DVDs?
I know it's old but it can be updated. Many users found it very useful.
It saved my system many times. At the time I was using reiser 3. However, it was not so forgiving with the ext4 fs.
If the gui is too much work. Why not create a script that can be linked to a text mode menu for both version of Grub include a fsck?
The DVD should include all of these tools to get the user up and running. Sort of an "all in one" DVD.

Hi, If I'm not wrong they were dropped because no one cares to maintain and test it and I'm sure it can be revived if someone take care and improve it (which is the difficult part - find a mantainer/developer) Regards, Luiz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
