Try burning it to a dual-layer DVD.
BC I burned the iso file to a rewritable DVD using k3b with a check step after the burning step. I had to repeat the burning, because the check showed an error. The second time the check was OK. So it should work using k3b.
Always use k3b - it's the most reliable burner I know. I've been using it for many, many years. Has never failed me (except during one occasion, for a very brief period, some years ago - explanation provided on request :-) ). Unless you use a most reliable brand of CD or DVD - for example Verbatim, but only if manufactured in Singapore or Japan or Taiwan - then burn at the slowest speed you can manage.
