[opensuse-factory] ISO C11 support in 12.2?

Hi,

is openSUSE 12.2 ready for ISO C11? AFAICS gcc 4.7 seems to be mostly
ready for C11, but apparently glibc trunk has quite a few changes for
C11 support which are missing in the latest glibc release.

A possible quick check is to run gcc -std=c11 (with appropriate warnings
switched on) for source code which contains a call to strdup(). That
function is part of C11, but not of C99. If your C library is not C11
capable and if your compiler is not using a builtin, that should trigger
a warning.

Regards,
Carl-Daniel
