This part is not only for Roman: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I was tempted to send quote from all 6 messages with roughly 3 pages of quotes in each, which is about 21 pages, with only +1 at the end, but I deleted all that few moments before it was sent.
Quoting is good to mark paragraphs that you are answering to, which can be done with 1 line per paragraph (it is just mark to help you find paragraph in original message), but having to scroll 21 page with only 17 lines of new text is a bit out of control.
Every reader of this list has complete thread, or it can be retrieved from archives, so keeping discussion history in every message is not necessary.
I'm not surprised that people like IRC more. There is no quoting at all so people have habit to read previous text, all works fine. --------------------------------------------------------------------
I see what you mean. So, for me today is the start of a new way of posting :-) Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
