I have another MIDI interface that needs firmware loading and that
appears to work, too (I haven't tested that it actually sends/receives
MIDI). I connected both devices after logging in to KDE, in the past I
had trouble with the MIDI interface when it was plugged in during boot
since it often did not receive the firmware in this case.
