I notice that currently python-numpy and python-matplotlib, arguably 2
of the 3 most critical science, engineering, and mathematics-related
python packages, are shipped with openSUSE and have been for at least
several releases. The third, python-scipy, however, is not shipped
with factory. It is currently well-maintained within
devel:languages:python, and doesn't appear to have any extra
dependencies.
I was wondering if there are any important reason that has been so far
preventing its inclusion in openSUSE:factory and, if not, whether it
can be included with openSUSE 12.1.
