I notice that currently python-numpy and python-matplotlib, arguably 2 of the 3 most critical science, engineering, and mathematics-related python packages, are shipped with openSUSE and have been for at least several releases. The third, python-scipy, however, is not shipped with factory. It is currently well-maintained within devel:languages:python, and doesn't appear to have any extra dependencies. I was wondering if there are any important reason that has been so far preventing its inclusion in openSUSE:factory and, if not, whether it can be included with openSUSE 12.1. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
