So you just don't give a shit about those who uses any DE other than Gnome or
KDE such as Awesome, xmonad, IceWM and so on.

Or do you hope they should rewrite the automounting subsystem two time a year?
Do you understad how much excess work you are putting on the developers all of
whom now have to rewrite from scratch the same functionality that already 
implemented
in udev?
