There is no default: the one(s) that will be needed to be installed by
default will be installed by default. For instance, udisks2 is now a
dependency of some GNOME packages, so it will be installed with a GNOME
install.
I assume that udisks (ie, udisks 1.0.x) is still required by KDE 4, so
it will be installed with a KDE 4 install.
udisks2 support is being worked on; I'm checking how far along it is.
I thought udisks2 was compatible with udisks-1 by dbus interface. It is not
so?
The dbus interface is different, afaik.
