Is not that true that KDE4 consumes more resources?

By the way, I am fed up with those attacks on KDE3.
Let's discuss udisks2 and how we are ready for it, this is what I
intended.

the KDE 3 vs 4 discussion is a huge waste of time. About as usuless as the
GNOME vs KDE debate. IF we'd succeed in pestering Ilya away from
maintaining KDE 3, he surely won't be helping on KDE 4 - we'd just loose a
piece of software which is still used by quite a number of users*.

Nobody wins. So can we stop the loose-loose game here?
