Or enable tmpfs only on new installs with enough memory,
I have a problem with this. As I see it, you'll end up with two
different default configs - making "gee, why is my system behaving
differently than yours" type of issues harder to track down.
Pick *a* default and stick with it, and provide choice to users,
because ultimately _users_ know (or are supposed to know) their needs
best.
