If you succeed, and consequently KDE3 becomes unusable or unavailable to/for Factory, it will result in a substantial reduction of the time I devote to Factory testing. I run KDE3 on some Factory systems, KDE4 on others, but spend far more time with the far more usable older KDE. The KDE devs seem insistent to not implement some KDE3 features I cannot do without.
Success would also be yet another reason to stop recommending openSUSE to those who ask me for distro selection advice. KDE4 is newer and prettier, but KDE3 actually does what still needs doing.

Please remove KDE3 from factory and let it live in it's own namespace.
KDE3 in factory is a taint on our openSUSE project.
+1 is a complete waste of resources and time.
I will submit a delete request for KDE3, I think that the KDE3 project is of
limited value and it should be maintained outside of factory.
