The link worked for me. Could you please try again?  Maybe I was

Grub2 offers same capability. :)

It's a good idea to have wiki page that demostrates some of the
command line usage of grub2 (for rescue your system from badly
installed loader, chainload other systems etc). The grub2 also
features new light scripting capability.

Also I think we can improve bug reporting page of bootloader. :)
