Hmm. Pulseaudio already broke games by blocking /dev/dsp (but then
games broke also due to various ABI changes in userspace libs,
dropping of stuff like GTK1, dynamic CPU frequency scaling, changes
in shell behavior etc etc. Linux gamers need to be surviors). dosbox
works just fine, dosemu broke due to vm.mmap_min_addr != 0 already.
There is no generic problem with wine (tested with ioq3).

In any case, Ludwig, and anyone else involved, please don't take

Really ? I have been running all my systems with it for around a
year and have not found any app that breaks ..
Do you use WINE, old versions of Java, dos emulators, old versions of
Oracle, old old old games built for Linux 1.x with libc?
