Yep, quite clearly, if a release is made with this change (or when the
package is pushed to tumbleweed), a very prominent announcement should
be made. As a heads-up for those users who care.

If misbehaving apps/drivers could be classified as sensitive to this
change, and enumerated on the announcement, it would be a plus, but it
depends on those using those apps/drivers testing and reporting the
issues.
