yeah, and what's the problem documenting that the user has to run
aa-status not systemctl status apparmor... to know what's going on ?

It's a downgrade to no longer be able to start/stop/query all major services using the same commands.

Absolutely. And the onus for doing the work is on those people proposing systemd as a better replacement, not on the rest of the world.
