That was 6 years ago, the LSB has changed a lot since then. Not as
much as some of us would like, but I wouldn't count it out just yet
:)
BTW Drepper only criticiced the value of LSB's ABI part which would be
needed for portable binary shipped sofware. He has not claimed that LSB
is dead. Others think that even the ABI is useful now and it's actually
used by large companies shipping closed source stuff.
