I think it is simple to see the fallacy...
The key parts are "used to be safe" and "without warning". A responsible
distributor doesn't risk his users' data in this way.
conversly, a "responsible user" doesn't store data "expecting it to be
save" in a system temporary directory, keyword *temporary*:
